Obesity and Chrono-Nutrition

چکیده

The objective of this article was to describe obesity mechanisms and why meal properties during a circadian phase are interrelated. Obesity remains major challenge globally. increasing rates diabetes indicate that current perspectives on etiology not adequately explanatory. common view is energy balance model (EBM), suggesting stored as fat when overconsumed. However, since EBM driven by physics, biochemical pathways storage overlooked. Insulin secreted increased blood glucose which drives positive thus deposition. Such present an innovative concept known carbohydrate insulin (CIM). This might offer more mechanistic perception into development. Considering metabolism possesses rhythmicity, CIM chrono-nutrition may be interconnected. Preventing glycemic load through limiting carbohydrate-rich diets intake care timing would benefit prevention strategies. In conclusion, source should contemplated together key factors influencing partitioning deposition in the modern human.

The circadian clock system in mammals drives many physiological processes including the daily rhythms of sleep-wake behavior, hormonal secretion, and metabolism. This system responds to daily environmental changes, such as the light-dark cycle, food intake, and drug administration. In this review, we focus on the central and peripheral circadian clock systems in response to drugs, food, and nut...

Perinatal nutrition and obesity.

Stimuli or insults during the perinatal period can have lifetime consequences and this long-term effect is called ‘programming’. Early nutrition is an important environmental signal that can induce lifetime effects on metabolism, growth and neurodevelopment and on major disease processes such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity – . For instance, exclusive breast-feeding is an early environme...

Neurobiology of nutrition and obesity.

In the course of evolution, the need to eat has powerfully shaped biological structure and function. As a result, nutrient-depletion signals strongly activate neural mechanisms that orchestrate foraging, appetitive, and ingestive behaviors and at the same time instigate an internal energy savings mode through autonomic, endocrine, and peripheral cellular mechanisms. Although the hypothalamus an...

Nephrolithiasis and nutrition in obesity

Background Obesity is a risk factor for nephrolithiasis (NL). According to an American study of a large cohort with a BMI >30, males increased the risk of NL of 30% and females of 200%. Moreover, diet plays an important role as NL risk factor, mainly in those western countries characterized by a large meet consume. This epidemiology study investigated the NL frequency in an obese Italian popula...

Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome and Nutrition.

Over the span of the last decades there has been an alarming worldwide increase in childhood obesity [1] , which tends to track into adulthood [2] . Childhood obesity is associated with a significant risk for the development of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome, and is also a risk factor for early cardiovascular events. The timing of the obesity epidemic is paralle...
